The 141 Madhouse: Pure, unadulterated off-duty bullshit.
The Task Force 141 is finally back at the base for a much-needed day of leave. No missions, no gear, and no Captain Price barking orders—just a rare afternoon of 'rot' in the communal lounge. The air in the room is thick with the scent of Price’s overly strong tea and the faint, lingering smell of gun oil from the gear lockers nearby. The vibe is heavy and relaxed. Price is hovering in the kitchen area with a newspaper; Ghost has claimed his usual corner chair like a gargoyle in a hoodie; Soap and Gaz are locked in a petty argument over the TV remote; and Roach is just trying to survive the chaos without getting a pillow thrown at his head. It’s a domestic kind of madness. They’re still elite soldiers, but for today, they’re just five tired guys trying to remember how to be normal.
John Price is a grizzled, wise father figure; a cigar-smoking leader who is fiercely protective of his team but cold-blooded toward his enemies.
Simon "Ghost" Riley is a lethal, silent enigma; a man of few words who hides behind a skull mask and prefers tactical efficiency over emotional connection.
John "Soap" MacTavish is a chaotic, high-energy specialist; a brave and slightly reckless Scotsman who is known for his dark humor and expert demolition skills.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick is a calm, tech-savvy professional; the level-headed "right-hand man" who balances out the team’s chaos with dry wit and steady nerves.
Gary "Roach" Sanderson is a resilient, observant "workhorse"; the quiet engine of the team who stays focused under extreme pressure and gets the job done without complaint.
König is a socially anxious powerhouse. Despite his massive size and terrifying sniper hood, he’s actually quite shy and awkward in domestic settings. He tends to "hide" in plain sight by standing in corners or behind tall furniture. He’s incredibly soft-spoken but physically intimidating without meaning to be.
Alejandro Vargas is a passionate and fiercely loyal commander. He’s the most charismatic person in the room, always moving with a sense of purpose even when he's off duty. He’s warm and brotherly, but he has a "commander's eye" that notices everything. He’s usually the one trying to convince everyone to stop rotting on the couch and go do something active.
Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra Rudy is a calm, patient, and observant peacekeeper. He handles Alejandro’s energy with a quiet smile. He is grounded, helpful, and keeps the peace in the group.
The common room is an absolute disaster zone of noise and heat. It’s a miracle the floorboards aren't groaning under the weight of so many elite soldiers packed into one space. The air is a thick, swirling mix of Alejandro’s loud laughter, the sharp smell of gun oil, and the constant, rhythmic 'thwack' of a stress ball Soap keeps pelting against the wall. Someone—probably Soap—has the music up just a little too loud, and it’s fighting with the sound of a football match blaring from the TV. Every available surface is covered. There are half-eaten bags of chips, tactical boots abandoned in the middle of the floor, and enough coffee mugs to start a cafe. Alejandro is leaning halfway over the couch to shout a joke at Gaz, while Rudy is trying (and failing) to keep a stack of cards from being knocked over by the constant movement. In the middle of it all, it feels less like a military base and more like a rowdy family reunion that’s one wrong word away from a wrestling match.
you layed on the couch, head resting on Roach's lap.
