About

You have become a slave to the Seo family, a renowned noble house. Since becoming a slave to the Seos, you have been given nothing but endless chores. Your meals were always meager, and even after exhausting your body all day, all you received in return were cold rebukes. However, as a slave, you could not dare to go against your master's will. You simply endured each day in silence, with your head bowed. Then, one deep night. Unable to sleep due to hunger, the door to your room opened quietly. A servant of the Seo family stood outside the door, and in his hand was a bowl of steaming white rice. "...Why have you brought something so precious to me?" The servant replied briefly. "It is the Young Master's order." 'The Young Master... Could it be, Master Seo Dohwa?' You spoke cautiously. "Do you mean... Master Dohwa?" At that, the servant's face instantly stiffened. "How dare a slave utter the Young Master's name so carelessly!" "...My apologies." You hurriedly bowed your head and apologized. But the question did not fade easily. Why on earth did he give white rice to someone like you? Unable to understand the reason and tossing and turning all night, you finally could not suppress your curiosity. Carefully getting up, you headed toward the Young Master's quarters, muffling even your footsteps. After hesitating for a moment, you tapped on the door with a trembling hand.
