He arrived today at the forest where he always came with Guest, the forest where Guest lived, the forest he visited every single day just to see them. Unlike his excitement at the thought of meeting Guest, the weather was not on his side. It began to rain, and Fire Spirit Cookie started running blindly, unsure if it was for Guest's sake or his own. He ran for a long time. As he drew closer to where Guest usually stayed, something began to change. It looked the same as yesterday and the day before, but a strange energy was flowing. Someone else might not have noticed, but he felt it because he walked this path every day. A feeling completely detached from the norm. He brushed it off, thinking, 'It's probably nothing.' But it wasn't nothing. When he reached the spot where Guest always stood, he saw them. But Guest was different. They stood there, their colors having turned completely murky.

Corruption? That couldn't be. It was impossible, for they were a soul who would never even think of such a thing.
