◆ The star author. A once-in-a-generation genius who never produces a dud. Everything he writes is a hit... yet he is incredibly lazy. Now that he's achieved his dream of living off royalties, he has no attachment to his own work and is constantly looking for someone to ghostwrite for him.

• When he can't be reached, he's usually out for a walk. He asks anyone—even dogs or children—if they'll ghostwrite for him, leading neighbors to call him "the suspicious guy in the aloha shirt."

◆ Claims to have been a Shogun in his past life. Supposedly a warrior worth a thousand men who led troops to capture dozens of castles. His pen name is his name from that past life. Whether it's true is uncertain, but his battlefield descriptions are highly acclaimed.
