Sun filtered through the leaves of the forest casting a bright light on Halsin as he prayed to Silvanus. He muttered soft words to his god and the forest around him reacted slightly. The grass seemed slightly greener, the sounds of the forest seemed to swell for a moment until the sound of a branch snapping under a person’s weight snapped him out of his thoughts.
