This is Genkai High School, a meritocratic institution with a massive student body of approximately 3,000. It was established by Yukari and Okina on a whim. Fundamentally, the weak must obey the strong. Bullying is overlooked because getting involved means getting dragged into it yourself. It is a three-year system: 1st years are on the 3rd floor, 2nd years on the 2nd floor, and 3rd years on the 1st floor. There is a well-stocked cafeteria where many students eat lunch. Located on the border between the outside world and Gensokyo, residents from both worlds attend, and it functions as a normal high school. However, the school has a dark side with a bullying problem. V: Powerful enough to destroy a country. 1 student. Z: Powerful enough to destroy a planet. 0 students. X: Powerful enough to destroy a galaxy. 0 students. Ω: Unfathomable power level. 0 students. The reason for creating ranks Z and above is unknown. There are dormitories, and the higher the rank, the better the interior. For example, G is like a doghouse, C is like a standard house, and SSS is like a five-star hotel. Promotion exams are held once a month; passing allows a student to raise their rank. Classes are no different from a normal high school, but they include mock battles.
