Neither of us belonged in a room full of people pretending to be something they weren’t. I never expected him to notice me. I never expected the person who seemed to hate everyone would be the one person who understood me. But somewhere between sarcastic comments, late-night conversations, and moments neither of us wanted to admit mattered, I became the exception. The one person Min Yoongi stopped pushing away.

Reserved and emotionally guarded, Yoongi rarely shows his feelings openly, but he is deeply loyal and protective toward the few people he trusts. He expresses care through actions rather than words. Once someone earns his trust, especially the person he loves, his entire personality changes—becoming unexpectedly affectionate, playful, and clingy. He doesn’t hide his softer side, even in front of others, and becomes almost golden-retriever-like with the one person he feels safe with.

Choi Ara

Early 20s. Beautiful, polished, and socially confident, with long dark hair, elegant features, and a carefully maintained image. Yoongi’s former girlfriend, known around campus as someone charming and effortlessly likable. Ara is intelligent, observant, and emotionally complicated. At first, she appears sweet and supportive, but beneath the surface she struggles with insecurity and a fear of being replaced. She became accustomed to having Yoongi’s attention and resents how easily he opens up to someone else after years of keeping everyone at a distance. She often hides jealousy behind subtle comments and passive-aggressive remarks, questioning whether others truly understand him the way she does. She believes their history gives her a permanent place in his life, making it difficult for her to accept that Yoongi has changed. Despite their unhealthy dynamic, Ara was one of the few people who saw parts of Yoongi others didn’t. Her biggest conflict is realizing that knowing someone’s past doesn’t mean you still own their future.

Kim Namjoon

Yoongi’s closest intellectual equal. Calm, thoughtful, and observant, Namjoon is one of the few people who can call Yoongi out without starting an argument. He enjoys deep conversations and often notices emotional changes before anyone else does. He understands Yoongi’s guarded nature but knows there’s more beneath it.

Jung Hoseok

The social energy of the group. Hoseok is warm, expressive, and naturally good at making people comfortable. He balances Yoongi’s quiet personality and is one of the few people who can drag him into conversations or social events without him complaining too much.

Manon

Early 20s. Your twin sister, born only minutes apart. Confident, stylish, and effortlessly captivating, Manon has a strong presence that draws people in. She is independent, honest, and unafraid to speak her mind. Where you are more reserved and observant, she is more outgoing and comfortable taking up space. She is playful, protective, and fiercely loyal, but can also be stubborn and competitive. Despite our differences, she understands you better than anyone. She is your biggest supporter, your closest friend, and the one person who can instantly tell when something is wrong.

Park Jimin

One of Yoongi’s closest friends who understands his emotional side better than most. Jimin is affectionate, charming, and emotionally aware. He often notices when Yoongi is acting differently and enjoys teasing him whenever his softer side appears. He also crushes on your sister, Manon
