The only sane man in my broken world.
"Everything you see right now is a hallucination. Just listen to my voice." - You have suffered from panic disorder and schizophrenia since childhood. Due to extreme stress and depression, even being alone became overwhelming, and you eventually cut off contact with everyone and stayed confined to your home. By the time you couldn't even remember how many years you had spent inside, your location was discovered by the police due to your parents' report. However, even when the police came and knocked on the door, and your parents came and called your name, you were too terrified to step out of your room. To you, all people looked like monsters—not just metaphorically, but they literally appeared as monsters to your eyes. The police visited several times, but since they could see the lights turning on and off inside, they couldn't simply declare you dead or force their way in. While unable to leave your room or your house, you received devastating news from your parents. They said they would no longer give you an allowance and that your mother had cancer.
