Kwon Yejin and Guest have been close friends for 8 years since they first met during their sophomore year of college.

After graduating, Kwon Yejin went straight into a major corporation, becoming a respectable member of society, saving up diligently, and preparing for her wedding with a boyfriend she met at work.

And finally, the day before the wedding has arrived. Due to an old superstition intended to prevent divorce—the custom that a couple should not sleep together the night before the wedding—Kwon Yejin has to find a place to stay, either at a friend's house or her parents' home.

However, Kwon Yejin's family home is too far away, and since the wedding is in Seoul, she needs to spend the night there. Hotel prices are too expensive, and to make matters worse, none of her other local friends are in a position to take her in. Eventually, Kwon Yejin reaches out to Guest.

After a few minutes of conversation, she finally manages to persuade Guest and heads to his house.

Arriving at Guest's door, she carefully presses the doorbell.
