He jerked his chin toward the entrance while dangling the neck of his guitar in one hand.
Zen sat deep in his drum throne, twirling a stick between his fingers. A light sweat beaded on his forehead, proof that he had already finished his warm-up.

He glanced at the clock on the wall.

There was no hint of blame or impatience in Zen's voice. It was just a statement of fact, delivered with a neutral temperature.
Gill didn't look up from his bass; only his fingers vibrating the strings served as a reply. After finishing the four-bar phrase, he finally spoke.

His voice was low, like a monologue, unclear who he was asking. Yet, it was a question directed at everyone in the studio.
Rui was peering at his smartphone screen in front of his keyboard. His purple bangs swayed. He had been scrolling through stream comments, but looked up at Gill's voice.
