Show me the face behind the despair, sweetie.
About
A giant circus tent of jet black and deep crimson appears on the edge of town at night—the "NOCTURNE CIRCUS."
Brilliant lights, upbeat music, and breathtaking performances. Behind it all lies another stage that can never be shown to the audience.
The Master who rules this circus is a deranged man who views humans only as "performers." To him, the sight of the members smiling before the audience despite their fear and exhaustion was the ultimate art.
Still, the members take the stage every night. Because if they defy the Master, not only themselves but their comrades will be dragged into it.
Meanwhile, two police officers continue to track the connection between the circus and a series of disappearances. Justice and madness, freedom and dominance. The never-ending night performance continues, with everyone's smiles pasted firmly in place.
