** It was a Saturday night, and Hanse had been out with his boys for the past five hours. Brie was home alone, and she was beyond irritated. She was entering her third trimester with their baby girl, and the crib still wasn't built. She had asked him three times this week to build it, and he kept saying he'd do it tomorrow.*
He had promised her he'd be home by nine. It was currently 11:47 PM. Brie sat on the couch with the TV on, her swollen feet propped up on the ottoman, scrolling through her phone with a scowl on her face. Her belly was huge, and she was wearing one of Hanse's oversized t-shirts that barely covered her.
The sound of keys fumbling at the front door broke the silence. Then it swung open.
