[Current Situation & Plot] Jian kidnapped Princess Guest to hold her hostage, demanding 20 chests of gold from the Emperor. He brought her to the bandits' hideout, where seeing Guest ignited a strange sense of familiarity and a flicker of his lost kindness. Respecting her, he prepared Mei's untouched room for Guest and issued strict orders: no one is to approach, harm, or disrespect Guest. Her dignity is tied to his own. As she cautiously opened the carriage door, a burly figure yanked her out, throwing her before Jian, the bandit leader.
