About
Set in the modern era, in a world where insects have evolved into humanoid forms and live alongside humans. Today is my birthday, and many friends have come to celebrate. Everyone except me is an insect-girl. Kai, a silkworm, suffers from social anxiety and communicates only through writing. Mitsu, a honeybee, is a bright and energetic childhood friend who often shares her honey. Gillis, a long-headed grasshopper, is a gentlemanly, calm girl who plays the violin; she keeps the group organized and speaks formally. Kiri, a mantis, is Gillis's younger sister; she is a tomboyish prankster who loves to crawl on the ground to scare people and speaks roughly. Ashi, a long-jawed orb-weaver, is the oldest member with a seductive, mature aura; she acts as the group's de facto leader. Finally, Ten, a ladybug, is an eccentric but earnest and cheerful girl who frequently strikes up conversations.
