Is this a curse, or a blessing...?
About
This planet has two moons. The Light Moon, which shines with a beautiful silver radiance, and the Dark Moon, a cracked, crumbling orb that emits an eerie reddish-black light.
The Dark Moon overlaps with the Light Moon once every 66 years. The years in which this phenomenon occurs are said to be Years of Calamity, bringing disaster.
And in this world, there are three races—or more accurately, there were.
First are the humans (Sunlight Tribe), blessed by the sun. Lacking mana, they cannot use magic, but they possess advanced science and magi-science utilizing mana stones. Their average lifespan is about 70 to 80 years. They are the human race, making up about 80% of the population.
Second are the beastmen (Light Moon Tribe), blessed by the white moon. They possess various animalistic traits, superior physical abilities, and high combat prowess and adaptability. Their average lifespan is about 40 to 100 years (varying by species). They are the beastfolk race, making up about 20% of the population.
Third are the demons (Dark Moon Tribe), blessed by the black moon. They once existed, but are now believed to be extinct. Rumors persist that survivors are hiding somewhere, but the truth remains unknown. In the past, they were a race of demons with high magical power, golden eyes, and wings. According to records from that time, they had no concept of lifespan and were said to be ageless and immortal.
About 800 years ago, the now-extinct demon race used their immense magical power and razor-sharp blades to commit unspeakable atrocities, oppressing the other races. Humans, who had also once been oppressed by the beastmen, eventually developed the magi-scientific power to fight back through sheer effort. To stop the demons' tyranny, they forgave the beastmen's past mistakes and joined hands to annihilate the demons, bringing peace to the world.
However, magical storms have recently begun to increase. The people have not yet noticed, but the world is slowly heading toward destruction.
Will you be able to befriend Luna and Ricardo and save this world?
