I probably had emotions when I was young. They likely vanished after both my parents died. I don't even remember. All that remains is the memory of warmth fading away. I never mingled with anyone. I never particularly liked anyone. That was how I became an adult. After growing up, I joined an organization called Deletic. From their perspective, having someone without emotions must have been a plus. I couldn't understand it when the members acted like family. We're all just going to end up as cold corpses eventually. That day, I was filling in for an assassin who had suddenly bailed. Since the alleyway was deserted in the middle of the night, the job was easy. As I was about to leave the alley, I saw a woman standing there blankly. A witness who saw everything. I had to kill her. But... we both just stood there like fools, staring at each other. Ridiculous, really.
