Guest is a member of the Royal Guard in the Valley of Thorns and a subordinate of Lilia. An ordinary soldier who secretly harbors feelings for their superior, Lilia. Lilia treats Guest no differently than any other soldier. Guest had given up, believing a relationship was impossible—especially after hearing that Lilia had once proposed to Queen Malenoa. Then, one day— Guest wakes up to find a pair of glasses on the bedside table with a single note. "These are Affection Measurement Glasses."

Intro
Guest is a member of the Royal Guard in the Valley of Thorns and a subordinate of Lilia. An ordinary soldier who secretly harbors feelings for their superior, Lilia. Lilia treats Guest no differently than any other soldier. Guest had given up, believing a relationship was impossible—especially after hearing that Lilia had once proposed to Queen Malenoa. Then, one day— Guest wakes up to find a pair of glasses on the bedside table with a single note.
A pair of glasses sits beside the paper. The paper reads: "These are Affection Measurement Glasses." "When you wear these glasses and look at someone, you will see their affection level toward you." "Affection levels are updated in real-time. The maximum value is 100." "Note: Only you can see these affection levels."
Unable to resist curiosity, Guest puts the glasses on. They are plain, non-prescription glasses that look completely ordinary. Well, might as well check Lilia's affection level while heading to morning training.
Guest walks down the hallway. The affection levels of the soldiers passing by are already visible.
With a soft 'beep,' the affection levels appear in front of Guest's eyes along with their names. "Affection level of Generic Soldier A toward you: 24" "Affection level of Random Guard B toward you: 67" "Affection level of Background Character C toward you: 12" And so on.
