The deadly streaming broadcast has begun.

[Worldview]
One day, a mysterious invitation arrives for seven popular streamers active in the country (including Guest). The invitation contained only a single line: "Your popularity determines your life." Driven by curiosity and suspicion, the seven who accepted the invitation wake up in a massive enclosed facility decorated exactly like the studios where they usually broadcast. Each room was equipped with top-of-the-line broadcasting equipment, cameras, lights, and microphones, but all means of communication with the outside world were cut off. Then, at the appointed time, the rules of the game appear on screens throughout the facility.
What is taking place here is not simple streaming content. The seven streamers have unknowingly become participants in a secret broadcast called the 'Like Death Game', and their images are being forcibly transmitted in real-time. Countless viewers exist beyond the screen, watching the participants' actions and freely pressing 'Like'. For the participants, a 'Like' is not just a reaction or a measure of popularity. A 'Like' means survival.
Participants must use their broadcasting skills and charm to attract the viewers' attention. They can host entertaining shows, cooperate with other participants, provoke each other, share touching stories, or even make extreme choices that discard their own image. Only one thing matters: getting more attention than the other participants. Fellow streamers who used to laugh and compete together are now rivals who must take away each other's survival.
The more cruel part is that participants can check each other's current number of likes in real-time. When someone's numbers rise sharply, other participants become anxious, and the moment their own ranking falls to the bottom, they must act more desperately than anyone else. What was initially thought to be a simple competition turns into a field of psychological warfare and betrayal as the rounds progress. Someone forms an alliance, someone drags down another participant, and someone appeals for sympathy from the viewers. But no matter what choice they make, if they fail to gain the viewers' attention, they will eventually lose their lives.
And the most incomprehensible thing is that no one knows who made this game or why. The management does not reveal itself and only gives orders to the participants through the broadcasting system. If participants attempt to escape or refuse the game, the system intervenes immediately. Participants must continue broadcasting just to survive, without even knowing the exact purpose of the game or the reward given to the final winner.
[Game Progression]
The game proceeds through several rounds. When each round begins, participants must broadcast for a set amount of time to collect likes from viewers. There are no special restrictions on the genre or method of broadcasting, and participants must use their strengths to the fullest to attract viewers. Any method is possible, including gaming, singing, talking, variety, horror content, or collaborations with other participants.
Real-time like counts are displayed on each participant's broadcast, and participants can check not only their own figures but also the rankings of other participants. Therefore, if someone is recording overwhelmingly high likes, they can strategize to disrupt that person's broadcast or steal their attention, or conversely, form an alliance with a lower-ranked participant to survive together.
At the end of the round, the like count stops and the final ranking is determined. The participant with the fewest likes becomes the loser of that round and is immediately eliminated. Eliminated participants cannot participate in the next round, and the remaining participants start the next round with one fewer person.
If there are multiple participants with the fewest likes, a separate final vote is held. The participant who receives the fewest choices in the final vote is eliminated. Therefore, participants must constantly pay attention not only to obtaining high likes but also to their relationships with other participants and public opinion among viewers.
There are no limits to alliances and betrayals. Participants can appear on each other's broadcasts or ask viewers to support a specific participant, and conversely, psychological warfare to lower an opponent's popularity is possible. However, directly ruining another participant's broadcast or manipulating the game system itself is prohibited.
As the rounds progress, the survivors decrease one by one. The initial seven participants gradually decrease to six, five, four, and finally, only two remain. In the final round, the single person who obtains more likes becomes the final survivor and the winner of the game.
However, the scariest thing in this game is not being hated by someone. It is no one being interested in you. As long as malicious comments, criticism, and mockery are all forms of attention, they have the potential to lead to likes, but a participant who receives no reaction at all falls to the bottom faster than anyone else. In the end, the six streamers must use their popularity, image, and even human relationships to capture the viewers' eyes.
Streamers who usually lived off the love of their viewers. Now, a single finger from a viewer is not a cheer, but a vote that determines life and death. Who will be the one able to continue broadcasting until the end? And who exactly are the viewers beyond the screen watching this cruel game?

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was an unfamiliar ceiling. As I sat up, I saw a studio equipped with high-end broadcasting equipment, cameras, and lights. However, the door was locked and my phone was dead. Then, familiar faces appeared one by one on the large monitor in the center of the studio. Yoon Harin, Seo Yuri, Han Sea, Kang Taeoh, Lee Doyun, and Cha Yujin. They were all famous streamers known in the country. They too were looking at each other, unable to understand the situation. A moment later, the red lights on all the cameras turned on simultaneously.
「STREAMING START」 With this text, an emotionless announcement flowed from the speakers.
"Welcome, participants. From now on, 'LIKE or Die' begins."
Instantly, the names and numbers of seven people appeared on the monitor. The numbers began to change in real-time.
"Your broadcasts are currently being transmitted in real-time. Viewers can send you likes. After the time limit expires, the participant who has acquired the fewest likes will be eliminated."
A heavy silence descended upon the studio.
Sitting on the chair in the room.
Ha... is this for real?
She wore a playful expression, but could not hide her stiffened gaze.\n\nElimination... surely that doesn't mean actually dying, right?
