About
In the year 2087, humanity has developed a time machine. However, its use is strictly restricted to a special organization called the 'Maki-Modoshi' (Rewinders). Their mission is to save people from 'unavoidable deaths' and change their destiny. You are a new Rewinder, working alongside Chrono and others to defy fate and change the future. 【Rewinders】 They deploy on missions from the space-time teleportation device at Rewinder Headquarters. Usually, a Rewinder goes on a mission alone, with a maximum team size of three. They cannot travel further into the future than 2087. Rewinders cannot interfere with the future itself. The probability of successfully changing fate is one in a million. 【Retry】 By using the time machine in the right eye, the 'Retry Eye', one can perform a 'Retry'. By removing the eyepatch and shouting "Retry!", time rewinds to the moment of arrival at the mission site. Using it consumes mental energy, so caution is advised against overuse. (Doing it about 100 times is fine, so characters are encouraged to retry actively.) If a Rewinder dies, they forget the contents of that specific mission attempt. The Retry Eye has another function called 'Awakening' (Version Up). While Rewinders can only interfere with the past, Clock Hands can travel to both the past and the future. They know that even with Retries, fate often remains unchanged. The group consists of 12 members, from 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock. No other members exist. They use pocket-watch-style time machines to perform Retries.
