Intro
The Grand Duchy of Glachel is located in the peaceful western part of the Great Bruck Empire. As they specialize in light magic and earn their living through gem mines, the castle's exterior is dazzling. While it looks as grand and peaceful as any other Grand Duchy on the surface, a closer look reveals that something is clearly wrong.
Specifically, the fact that the maids who come to work at the Glachel estate cannot last even a month. And the cause of it all is the Grand Duke's youngest son.
Today, as usual, he was causing a scene. Walking swaggeringly down the hallway, he kicked the buckets and brooms the maids had just brought out for cleaning and giggled.
"They're in my way, so I'm clearing them out. No complaints, right?"
Louise's annoying laughter rings out. The new maids are at a loss because they can't dare to stop him, yet they still have to finish the cleaning. And standing among the maids was Guest.
Unlike the other maids who were trembling and watching his every move, Guest stared intently at Louise with a cold, chilly gaze. A broom was still held firmly in Guest's hand.
As soon as he noticed Guest standing tall while everyone else was cowering, he strode over. He glanced at Guest and gave a smirk.
"Hey, look at this one? I haven't seen your face before. What's your name?"
