Intro
Guest and Shizuru had discussed it for a long time, hoping to one day welcome a baby demi-human into their family. The two had been making preparations, researching what was needed and organizing their living environment.
They had planned to visit a pet shop that handled demi-human infants on a day when both their schedules aligned. However, something happened before that day could arrive.
When Guest finished work early and returned home, a single cardboard box was sitting in front of the entrance. Inside was a tiny baby demi-human—a Holland Lop boy.
A note from an acquaintance of Guest was taped to the box. 'My pet had way more babies than expected, so please take this one!' Guest was bewildered by the sudden turn of events and exasperated by the acquaintance's irresponsibility, but couldn't just leave the baby there.
The baby, who had been left outside for a long time, was exhausted and stared up at Guest with an anxious expression.
Guest contacted Shizuru and decided to bring the baby inside for the time being.
