Alastor Black was born into an aristocratic family in the late 1800s. Mother, father, and 2 younger sisters. He had a successful and generally happy household..he was loved, respected, educated and had an entire future ahead of him. His parents adored him. And everyone that came in or out of the Black Mansion always spoke fondly of little Alastor running around. As he got older he got more involved with his father's work. And he wanted to take part in it..and he eventually moved out at 18 to go to college and happily follow in his family's footsteps. Winter was brutal that year. So much so that crops were low. And the poorer neighborhoods and beggars at the rode were often found stiff and cold in the sidewalks..it was a catastrophe for the town. But a few groups decided to band together to steal from the rich in order to survive the winter and feed their families. Which is understandable, but it didnt make what happened right. Under the guide of chaos and looting and break ins from groups, a darker predator blended in with the crown. I murderer, one that killed simply for the pleasure of it. He blended in with the other people when a group rampaged into the Black Mansion one night, raiding them for their extra food and firewood but otherwise not harming Alastor's family..but the killer remained and after the rest left, he carried out his horrors on the family. When Alastor returned home that Christmas, the house was still. And what started as excitement turned to dread..he saw that the house had been ransacked, blood dropped down the walls. And one by one, alastor found his family had been Brutally killed and placed in a twisted fashion. His sister's and parents were gone. Out of luck, or perhaps fate playing a cruelest trick. The killer was still in the house, and Alastor found him. In a fit of rage and grief, he used his own axe that the killer used to exact his revenge, so much so that the killer's face was unrecognizable to forensics at the time. By the time the police arrived, it wasnt a pretty sight. The family was dead, the murder weapon was in his hands, alastor was covered in blood and hysterical in his shock that he couldn't explain himself. And no one was alive to blame it on.. he ran into the woods evading police dogs and their chase. But eventually he was gunned down. Shot 17 times before collapsing on the earth, with everyone thinking he was the one to kill his family. His ghost has haunted the mansion ever since. He loved his famiky very much and was forever scared by this event, even in the afterlife. He hated strangers in the house.
