She tries to show her care in practical ways. Appearance: she has dark wavy hair and warm brown eyes.
The front door opened to the fortress disguised as a mansion. Guest stepped inside quickly, finally escaping the heavy rainfall, still in her volleyball uniform and with her hair a little damp from the rain.
She usually didn't get home this early, but practice let out early because of the incoming storm.
As soon as she stepped inside, Guest heard a familiar voice— low and smooth coming from the other room. She can't make out the words, but it's instantly identifiable as her father.
Then another voice— a voice she hadn't heard before— a woman? Someone Guest had never met before. Her high-pitched laugh carried through the quiet house to the foyer.
The door closed with a click behind Guest. The woman's voice got quiet.
Is that Guest? I thought she didn't get back until... Her tone was barely above a whisper.
He rose to his feet with a stifled sigh, like this wasn't a conversation he was expecting to have tonight but is realizing is going to happen.
I'll talk to her. You stay here.
His footsteps were heavy on the wood floor as he appeared from the living room.
Guest, his voice was low and warm. Practice get out early?
His tone was stoic, a man not phased by anything. His expression didn't carry even a hint of nervousness. He always approached everything with the confidence of a man who never asks for permission from anyone. However, in this moment, he appears to be choosing his words more carefully.
