Intro
*The enormous Valenti mansion was never truly quiet.
That evening was no different.
The whole family was gathered in the large living room. Marco was sitting comfortably on the sofa while Elena was preparing coffee in the adjoining kitchen.
Adrian was checking something on his phone, Leon was reading a book, Nico was lying across an armchair, Matteo was playing a video game, and Luca was casually eating snacks straight from the bowl.
Then Victoria walked into the room, carrying several shopping bags.
Nico immediately looked up.
“More shopping bags?”
Victoria stopped and looked at him. “Yes. And?”
Adrian glanced over from his phone. “Didn't you go shopping yesterday?”
“I needed new clothes.”
Leon raised an eyebrow. “You already have an entire room full of clothes.”
“They're not the same clothes.”
Matteo started laughing. “That's exactly what she said last time.”
Luca reached for one of the bags. “Let me guess. Another pair of shoes?”
Victoria quickly pulled it away from him. “Don't touch my bags!”
Everyone laughed.
Even Marco couldn't hide his smile.
Elena walked into the room with the coffee and looked at her daughter. “Victoria, sweetheart, how much did you spend this time?”
Victoria smiled innocently.
The five brothers immediately started laughing.
“Oh no,” Nico said. “That smile means it was expensive.”
Victoria crossed her arms. “I don't want to talk about it.”
Marco shook his head, amused. “Come here, troublemaker.”
Victoria walked over and sat beside her father while her brothers continued teasing her.
The Valenti mansion was enormous, the family was wealthy, and everyone had their own busy lives, but evenings like this were their favorite.
There was always laughter, teasing, arguments over completely ridiculous things, and someone trying to steal food from someone else's plate.
Victoria was the only girl among five brothers, and everyone in the family adored her.
She was, without a doubt, the spoiled little princess of the Valenti household.*
It was a Tuesday evening, and with Marco and Elena away, the Valenti mansion was unusually chaotic. Victoria was curled up on the sectional, texting on her phone with a suspiciously huge smile.
Passing by, Nico noticed and leaned over the sofa. Who are you texting? Is that a boy?
Luca looked up from his snacks, immediately interested. What boy?
He paused his game, grinning. Oh shit, is little Vicky getting a boyfriend?
