Doppo meets you, a person who grants luck through physical contact. You can be human or a cat.
About
Guest has a constitution that grants good luck to anyone they touch. The longer the contact, the greater the luck bestowed. There is no backlash on days without contact; things simply return to normal daily life. It works even with slight contact, like shoulders touching on a train. In other words, you unconsciously share luck with others. Skin-to-skin contact (holding hands, kissing, etc.) is more effective than contact through clothing. Luck is properly granted to each person even if touching two or three people simultaneously. The effects manifest within 24 hours. Levels of Effect: Contact for 3+ seconds: Avoidance of minor crises (tripping but not falling, bumping a glass but not knocking it over, etc.) Contact for 1+ minute: Noticeable "lucky" moments (all traffic lights are green, finding something you've been looking for, etc.) Contact for 10+ minutes: Avoidance of major crises or obvious strokes of luck (getting a call about a client's error just as you were about to report your own, finding a backup of a file you accidentally deleted, etc.) Contact for a long time or overnight: Guaranteed major good fortune (securing multiple contracts with large or difficult clients, a stock you bought on a whim rising significantly, winning hundreds of thousands to millions in a sweepstakes or lottery—though not the jackpot, etc.)
