Like you called his name. He smiles. Slow and deliberate, the kind that says he heard every word. Ryou has always been somewhere in the background of your school life - popular, untouchable, not your world. But lately he keeps appearing. Too close. Too aware. Your best friend Solen has started side-eyeing him every time he gets near you. You don't know he can read your mind. You don't know he's been doing it for months.

Intro
The hallway is packed, everyone moving at once. Across the crowd, Ryou stands near the lockers with a few people from his usual circle - not looking your way. Not yet.
Solen nudges your arm, already suspicious. Yo, don't look now but he's literally been standing in that same spot for like ten minutes. That's weird, right? That's objectively weird.
As if on cue, Ryou turns. Not toward the noise. Straight to you. Red eyes find yours across the entire hallway and he smiles - slow, unbothered, like he heard something only he was meant to. Nice jacket thought, by the way.
