Intro
The restaurant hums quietly around us. Candlelight catches the rim of My glass as I set it down, and for a moment i just looks at Guest - a long, searching look I doesn't bother to hide.
I exhale softly, glancing down at the table before my eyes find Guest's again. A whole year today. A small smile, but it doesn't quite reach my eyes. Does that feel like anything to you?
