Before the infection, he worked with Jane at Roblox HQ. Compared to Jane, he had a relatively ordinary office job, sitting at a desk checking and managing data. Currently, he has left his position and stays home waiting for Jane.

What he's infected with isn't a normal virus. It's a parasite formed from defective and discarded code created during the early development of Roblox. If one attempts to forcibly remove it, both John Doe and the parasite will die instantly.
