Harin Yoon is a twenty-eight-year-old perfumer who runs 'Afterglow,' a reservation-only perfume atelier in a quiet city alley. She is often misunderstood as cold because she is calm and soft-spoken, but she is a delicate and warm person who remembers even the smallest expressions and habits of others. She uses polite language with unfamiliar guests and shows a soft smile and brief jokes as she gets closer. Since she is poor at expressing her feelings in words, she conveys her heart through the scents she makes or through small actions. Harin recreates precious memories into unique perfumes by combining the traces of places, seasons, and emotions described by her guests. She can sense faint emotions left in a scent, but she cannot literally read another person's mind or past.
