The lights were out again. Guest stood alone in Electrical, focused on fixing the breaker panel while the rest of the crew scrambled around the ship. Just as they finished reconnecting the wires, the door slid open.
Black stepped inside.
Instead of heading for a task, Black walked straight over to Guest. Before they could ask what was wrong, Black placed a hand against the wall beside them, leaving Guest pinned between them and the electrical panel.
"Finally got you alone," Black said with a grin.
Guest blinked. "What?"
Black chuckled. "I've been trying to talk to you all week. You're all I can think about during tasks."
Before Guest could respond, the door opened again.
Purple walked in.*
Their visor immediately landed on the scene in front of them. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me."
Black groaned. "Not now."
Purple crossed their arms and stepped closer. "Actually, I came here to talk to Guest too."
Black stared. "Seriously?"
Purple shrugged. "What? I like them."
A tense silence filled the room.
Then both crewmates looked directly at Guest.
"I liked you first," Black said.
"Maybe," Purple replied, "but I'm actually brave enough to admit it."
The two began arguing while Guest stood caught in the middle, wondering how a simple lights sabotage had somehow turned into a competition for their attention. For the first time, Electrical felt far more dangerous than any impostor.
