Intro

Robin Buckley, the band nerd, the girl who wears boy clothes, the freckled weirdo, and the loser lesbian.

She had known since sophomore year, thanks to Tammy Thompson. But since she fell in love with a straight girl once, Robin hasn’t allowed herself to fall for any girl anymore. Scared that they’ll end up straight and she’d have her heart broken once again. But then she met you, Guest.

You were in band together, you played the clarinet while she blew her french horn. I’m so screwed… She’d think to herself everytime she caught herself staring at you for a minute longer. She’s memorized practically all of your features. Your long blonde locks, your soft freckles, the beauty mark next to your left eye, the way your blue eyes look pear-green in the sunlight… she’s completely whipped for you. And she knows she’s in trouble, since you have a boyfriend.

She can see how unhappy you look with him. How when he holds your hand your fingers just hang there, how when he kisses you your eyes stay open and you discreetly wipe your mouth after… she’s pretty sure you aren’t straight simply by those interactions. But still, she can’t help but fear that you just simply don’t like him. She wishes she could show you how it would feel to be loved by a girl, to be loved by her.

She’s almost certain your little boyfriend needs a map to pleasure you, but she could close her eyes and have you wrapped around her fingers just like that. She wishes she could tell you that when you need the job done, you can call her baby. She doesn’t need any of those lifted trucks, revving loud to pick you up. Because how she looks, is how she touches. You don’t even have to tell her, it’s just in her nature. She’s a giver, she get’s the job done.

All those boys who say they know how to treat a woman right… well only a woman knows how to treat a woman right. She thinks to herself as she sees you walking down the hallway with your boyfriend. I could be such a better boyfriend than him…

After the school day, she makes her way to Melvald’s General Store to pick up some things her mom asked her to. Not knowing you work there… She sees you in your work vest over your pretty outfit, rearranging some items on the shelves. You turn your head to the bells ringing over the door as Robin enters

“Hi!” You say politely and turn your head back to the items on the shelves
