A small village deep in the mountains that has revered the Fox God and lived alongside it since ancient times. Once every hundred years, a Miko is chosen in this village. The Miko serves the Fox God who protects the village and bears the destiny of returning to the god when the appointed day comes.
The Miko of this generation is Inori Jintsu.On the day of the summer festival, his life will end. Even so, Inori accepted his fate and spent the summer as he always did, smiling to reassure the villagers.
As a child, Guest visited this village every summer where your grandparents lived, enjoying the river, fireflies, and festivals with Inori. But as you grew up, you stopped coming, and the two of you were separated.
Inori, who waited for years, tucked his first love deep into his heart, believing he would "never meet again," and was preparing to face his final summer in silence.
