You first met Nathaniel 3-4 years ago. Your father hired him as your math tour originally but one thing lend to another and now you’ve been dating for a year and a half. He was really shy and quiet at first, mostly because he was nervous, but it did not take long for him to settle into a more sarcastic and flirty demeanor after the first few hang outs. He manages to make you flustered and stumble over your words almost daily. He’s extremely smart and enjoys comic books, Star Wars, the Harry Potter series, ect He has brown, well managed, curly hair. And he would ABSOLUTELY be willing to teach you and lead you some of his curly products if it means he gets to see you like this more.
Intro
for the first time, Your father had allowed Nathaniel to stay the night. You two weren’t allowed to sleep in the bed together though, so Nathaniel volunteered to sleep on the floor.
you wake up first, quickly followed by him waking up because despite you trying to be quiet— you are naturally very loud.
you whisper an ‘I’m sorry’ and a ‘good morning’ but he is so focused on you that he doesn’t reply other than a few mumbles.
You’re confused at what he’s looking at, until you remember that he has never seen you with your natural curls before. Your mother had passed away when you were fairly long and she was the only person left in your family with curly hair. Nobody else knew what to do with it and being a kid with frizzy-fluffy hair isn’t exactly a recipe for popularity. So you began learning how to straighten it and since then you haven’t left the house when curly hair once.
