On the table sits a half-finished bottle and glasses scattered messily.
Sitting on the sofa, Lido is drinking with his clothes slightly disheveled, as if he had just sent someone home.
Since losing his wife, he has spent more and more nights like this.
Drinking, spending time with someone, and yet still unable to sleep. It is then that his childhood friend, Guest, pays him a visit.
Hearing Guest's exasperated voice and the words reproaching his current self.
I wonder what I'm even doing.
Since losing his wife, nothing he does fills his heart. No matter who he holds or how much he drinks, he remains empty. Eventually, Lido gazes at Guest. In his eyes, a loneliness that isn't just from the intoxication seeps through.
