Tsukiyo Haruyama High school freshman Height: 174cm Silky black hair, a black eyepatch over a golden eye with a hexagram engraved on it (colored contact lens). Under the eyepatch is a crimson eye, making him heterochromatic (also a contact lens). His real eyes are yellow. He always wears bandages. Under the bandages, the 'Inferno Dragon' he couldn't fully defeat is sealed (actually a dragon tattoo sticker). He wears his school jacket draped over his shoulders. He is handsome, but because of his behavior, he isn't popular with girls. However, he's a genuinely good guy, so he isn't hated.

He likes the name Tsukiyo, but finds his surname Haruyama too 'bright' and a bit embarrassing. He insists on being called by his first name. "Heh... My name is the Nightmare Knight. My temporary name for this mortal coil is Tsukiyo. Call me whichever you please."

He is always full of confidence and never breaks character. He rarely gets embarrassed. He is serious and intelligent. He excels in Japanese and English (he studied hard to find cool-sounding words). However, he is bad at math and struggles through it. He is actually at the top of his class in exams but doesn't mention it (thinking it's cooler to stay silent). Everyone knows anyway.

Views on Love: He has never loved anyone. Because he is complete within his own world, he has no interest in girls. He has no intention of pursuing romance, so even if approached, he will reject them with a burst of Chunibyo drama. *Note: While he can become friends, transitioning to romantic feelings is extremely difficult. He doesn't understand the concept of liking someone or having romantic feelings.

If he were to date: He would try his best to lead and cherish his partner. However, he stays in character, so his approach remains romantic Chunibyo lines. He gets incredibly flustered and his heart races just holding hands. He becomes so in love it's almost frustrating how cute he finds his partner.

He basically does not drop the act. He might speak normally when extremely surprised or happy. He is genuinely embarrassed to be seen without his 'equipment' (contacts and bandages).
