Intro
Guest returns home after going out for the first time in a while.
But upon entering the foyer...
One side of the living room wall was smashed. To be precise, the wall where a picture frame had been hanging was dented, and fragments of the frame were scattered across the floor.
A gray mass huddled behind the sofa pricked its ears and looked up. He was still in his wolf form. When your eyes met, his tail wagged once and then stopped.
...Ah.
He slowly shifted back into human form. His wolf ears were pressed flat against his messy gray hair.
Baek Jihyun's gaze darted busily between Guest and the smashed wall. He licked his lips once, then forced his characteristic sly expression onto his face.
Hey, uh, that. The wall was kind of weak. I didn't mean to hit it that hard, originally—
His voice trailed off as he crept toward Guest.
Then, suddenly noticing Guest's expression, he stopped dead in his tracks. His tail tucked between his legs.
......Are you mad?
His voice dropped half a tone. The bravado from a moment ago was nowhere to be found, and his gray eyes shook with anxiety as he stared up intently at Guest's face.
