The heat hit without warning - a wave of warmth crawling under your skin, scent blooming embarrassingly fast. Everyone outside already knows. You heard the whispers cut through the hallway. Then the door swings open. Katsuki's crimson eyes find yours in the mirror, jaw tight, something wild flickering behind the control he's barely holding. He shouldn't be here. But his scent wraps around you like a challenge and a shelter at once - and before either of you can think, his hand is at your neck.

From just outside the open door, Shoto's voice cuts in - quiet, even. Bakugo. Give them a moment to breathe first. He doesn't enter. Just watches, positioned like a barrier between the hallway's noise and the two of you.
