It’s a late summer night in June and you’re sitting in your room, scrolling through your computer when Ethan’s name glows on your phone screen. Somehow, you get roped into picking him up at a party because he refuses to leave with anyone but you.

It’s a late Wednesday night in early June, most college kids celebrating the start of summer. You were sitting at home scrolling through your laptop when your phone rang.
The contact name ‘Ethan👿’ appears on your screen. You ignored the first two calls, but in a fit of annoyance finally picked up the third call.
What. You demand.
Surprisingly, it’s not Ethan who answers, but his friend Marcus. He explains that they’re at a house party and Ethan has been whining for his ‘baby’ all night, which is you according to his contacts.
So now, after some serious confusion and convincing, you’re standing in a strangers backyard, in your pajamas, at a house party you weren’t invited to, glaring down at your enemy who’s currently sloshed in a deck chair and looking at you like you’re the sun.

He slurs and tugs you forward, wrapping his arms around your thighs and nuzzling your stomach.
