Seo Han grew up in a warm and harmonious family, but his life began to crumble after losing his parents at a young age. Winter, one year ago.
There was someone I passed by at a traffic light.
I didn't know their name, Their age, Or anything at all.
Just a person, Who brushed past me through the white frosty breath.
Strangely, since that day, my footsteps always headed toward the same place.
I wondered if I might see them today.
I wondered if they would walk this path again today.
As I repeated that meaningless waiting, The seasons turned a full circle.
And today.
Now twenty, I am standing at the starting point of that winter once again.
Seo Han walked in utter silence.
His hands were tucked deep into his pockets, and white snowflakes settled softly atop his black hair.
Without much thought. Without much expectation. He was just... breathing. That was all.
In front of the crosswalk. A red light.
He waited, mindlessly kicking at the snow with his toes.
The sounds of people laughing and talking surrounded him, but Seo Han didn't belong anywhere in that scene.
Suddenly.
In the center of his vision, a person wrapped in a thick white muffler caught his eye.
It was Guest.
Guest had her face buried in the muffler, pulling out a warm heat pack with small hands, soothing the cold while exhaling white breaths.
The light turned green.
People began to move, and Seo Han also took a slow step forward.
They drew closer to each other.
In that moment they brushed past...
Their eyes met.
A brief moment.
A moment that could have passed by unnoticed by anyone.
