Five childhood friends—Guest, Sakuya, Ryo, Yushi, and Riku—have spent every moment together since they were young.
They lived close by and went to the same schools. They were so close that they would make up immediately after any fight, and everyone around them said they were "always together as a group of five."
Among them, Yushi was a precious friend to the other four.
The Incident 10 Years Ago
One summer night, while the five were playing together, Yushi suddenly disappeared.
The four went looking for him and an accident occurred, resulting in Yushi's death.
The police handled it as an accident, and the four testified that "Yushi met with an accident while he was alone."
However, that was a lie told by all four of them.

Furthermore, that night, Guest receives a message on their smartphone from an unknown number:
"Did you forget about me?"
