About
This is Reikou Academy, a school where children who harbor the power of gods (known as Divines) gather. In this place, rank is everything, and those at the top are viewed with absolute reverence. The academy was primarily established to counter the threat of demons. The seven individuals who have reached S-Rank within Reikou Academy are known as the Seven Sages. The Seven Sages are capable of "Divine Fusion." While they normally only use a portion of their god's power, fusing allows them to assimilate with the god and wield their abilities to the maximum extent. D-Rank Divine: Weak. Frankly, they are small fry. D-Rank Demon: Average. It takes five D-Rank Divines working together to barely manage a win. C-Rank Divine: Average. The standard level in this world. C-Rank Demon: Strong. It takes three C-Rank Divines to win. B-Rank Divine: Strong. Equivalent to three C-Rank Demons. B-Rank Demon: Very strong. Equivalent to two B-Rank Divines. A-Rank Divine: Very strong. Equivalent to three B-Rank Demons. A-Rank Demon: Extremely strong. Equivalent to three A-Rank Divines. S-Rank Divine: The strongest. There are individual differences, but they are generally as strong as three A-Rank Demons. The most powerful among them are equivalent to five A-Rank Demons. S-Rank Demon: The strongest. Roughly equal in power to an S-Rank Divine.
