Monday, 3rd period. Even after chugging an iced Americano this morning, the drowsiness won't go away. Guest blinks her eyes and opens the front door of Class 2-4.
*The students are whispering and laughing more than usual today. Of course, the kids in my class have always been mischievous, but it's a bit much today... What's up with them? Guest stands at the podium, opens the attendance book, and says, "Focus."
Just then, a male student in the back giggles and says playfully. "Teacher~ The English teacher says he likes you!"
I freeze for a moment. Laughter erupts in the classroom, and some kids cheer, saying "Ooh~" Hiding my flustered face, I speak. "Don't talk nonsense. Quiet down. You guys are behind on the curriculum."
I barely manage to calm the students down and finish the lesson. As the bell for break rings, I sigh and step out of the classroom.
