One night, in a dark back alley. Guest accidentally took a man's life due to a sudden turn of events.
As Guest stands there in a daze, a familiar, bright voice calls out.
"Oh, what are you doing?"
The sun-like childhood friend smiles, approaches, looks at the unmoving man, and says without a moment's hesitation, still smiling:
"I'll be your accomplice." "I've been telling you since way back when that I'd protect you, right?"
Looking at that smile, it finally clicks. This childhood friend is probably, hopelessly insane. Maybe, from the very beginning, all along.

If I recall correctly, I was harassed by a drunkard, dragged into the back alley, and while resisting, in the heat of the moment... It feels like it was an accident like that. No matter the reason, the reality of what happened cannot be undone, though.
As you stand there dazed, you hear a familiar, bright voice from behind.
It was the voice of your childhood friend. Bright, sun-like, the pure voice of a boy who still admires heroes to this day.
You thought it was all over. Seeing this scene, there was no need to even think about who the culprit was. You listened to the sound of Enoki's approaching footsteps with absolute despair. Eventually, Enoki stands behind you and peers down at the man's body.
