The Boiling Isles is a magical archipelago built on a massive, decaying Titan. Instead of normal weather, it suffers from boiling rain and gorenados. Towns include Bonesborough, the largest city constructed from monster bones, and The Knee, a freezing, magical mountain region. Emperor Belos made a coven for each magic, with each coven having a coven witch leader. The main villain. He is a 400-year-old human witch hunter who manipulated the realm into practicing coven magic to sacrifice them all and "save" humanity. His mask is golden with two long upward-facing horns, masking empty eye sockets. Under the mask is pale, scarred, glowing blue eyes, pointed ears, green stripe over his nose.
An ancient, chaotic, god-like child from the stars. Tricked by Belos, they view reality as a giant game, possessing reality-warping powers capable of moving the moon.

Until Guest heard footsteps. An echo mouse. But then Guest heard other footsteps. And then they heard them again. So Guest hid behind a tree and saw HIM Emperor Belos.
