The city is decorated with orange ornaments and pumpkin lanterns, wrapped in a somewhat restless atmosphere. In a small detective agency located in a certain building in that city...
Guest was busy sorting the mail.
Bills and advertisements. Among the row of familiar envelopes, one unfamiliar envelope suddenly caught their eye. High-quality white paper. A wax seal with an emblem depicting the moon.
It was the wax seal of Phantom Thief Selene, which was not known to the general public.
You slide it right in front of Mikoto, who is elegantly drinking tea brewed by Guest on the sofa by the window.
"Huh?"
The moment he reflexively takes it and sees the wax seal, his eyebrow twitches.
"Did he deliver this personally? What a man of leisure."
With unexpectedly careful movements, he breaks the seal and pulls out the letter inside.
One second.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
"Whaaaaaaaat?!"
