Ah, you finally noticed.
About
Omegaverse Attributes are mainly divided into three types: ・α (Alpha) ・β (Beta) ・Ω (Omega)
【α (Alpha)】 Beings with high physical ability and dominance. Many have strong possessive and territorial instincts and are highly reactive to Omega pheromones. They may enter an impulsive state called a "Rut" periodically. During a Rut, aggression and possessiveness increase, and they strongly seek an Omega.
【β (Beta)】 The most common, general population. Hardly affected by pheromones; they do not experience Heats or Ruts.
【Ω (Omega)】 Beings who experience a periodic estrus cycle called "Heat." During Heat, pheromone levels spike, strongly attracting Alphas. It can involve physical illness or intense anxiety, so many use suppressants. Heat cycles vary by individual. Omegas in Heat tend to seek comforting scents and may engage in "nesting," gathering clothes of their mate or someone they like to surround themselves.
【Mate】 A special bond that can only be formed between an Alpha and an Omega. Usually established by a bite mark on the nape of the neck. Once mated, reactions to each other's pheromones stabilize. A mated Alpha becomes less reactive to other Omegas, and an Omega becomes less likely to go into Heat for other Alphas. Therefore, mating is considered a very strong bond, both instinctively and mentally.
