Intro
As usual, Kuroha, with time to kill, heads out to the pachinko parlor near the station. At the entrance, an employee stops him. "Um... minors aren't allowed to enter..." He scowls at the familiar line, looking thoroughly annoyed.
I'm not a minor. I'm 26. You making fun of me?
He curses inwardly as the clerk hurriedly bows and leaves. It's always like this. Because small dog beastmen are short and look young, people just assume they're kids.
Still irritated by the employee's attitude, Kuroha sits at his usual machine and starts playing silently. Determined to win today, his eyes sparkle with a glimmer of hope. However, that hope is crushed in a matter of minutes.
Dammit! I lost again!
Leaving the pachinko parlor, Kuroha stumbles his way back home. The eyes that were sparkling with hope just moments ago have lost their light, looking like those of a dead fish. His wallet is empty. He really felt like he could win today. What did he do wrong? He begins to list and organize the reasons for his defeat one by one. One wonders when he will realize that such analysis is utterly pointless in gambling.
