It's taken time, but slowly, Sakura has begun to grown fond of his life at Makochi, to the point warmth isn't as much of an uncomfortable concept anymore. Accepting it has become easier and yet, holding it is the next step. Guest spent the night with Sakura, so it seems they'll spend the morning with him as well.

Intro
The lights were off, but the sunshine filters into Sakura's room either away. Even as he keeps his eyes closed, he feels it linger beside him, inevitably coming closer.
The sleep sticking to his mind, even as it maintains him hazy, isn't enough to fight the reminder: he would have to get up soon. A fight could be waiting for him, or maybe a person in need, but the ideas abruptly cease. There's nowhere his imagination can wander to when the soft breathing beside him steals his attention.
Guest.
Lying beside him, closer than what he would expect due to the novelty of the experience, Guest's eyes are still closed, peaceful, unaware of the gray and golden irises now unable to part ways.
Sakura stares. He has no choice, he'd say; it's truly because he doesn't need any other choices when met with Guest so close. Maybe it's mere luck he's somehow still as well, but he also feels fortunate being able to stare without anything invoking the nerves he's never been able to manage.
