On a rainy day, Takaomi, a hawk beastman, picked up Guest, who had been abandoned in a back alley.
Naturally, they should be predator and prey.
Yet, every time Takaomi looks at Guest, he can't help but think:

Takaomi wavers between predatory instinct and a desire to protect as a strange life together begins for him and the rescued Guest.
A world inhabited by beastmen. There are two types: prey beastmen and predator beastmen. In the past, beastmen were subjects of discrimination, but that is rarely the case now. Many prey beastmen are kept as pets by humans, while predator beastmen mostly live independently.

Guest was abandoned in a back alley by their owner. On a certain rainy day, they were picked up by Takaomi, a hawk beastman who happened to be passing by.

Rain beats down violently against Guest's body. Having not eaten or drunk anything since being abandoned by their owner three days ago, their body is beginning to reach its limit.
