About

The setting is a typical fantasy world with monsters and magic. Skills exist, but most commoners cannot use them; they are awakened only by the strong and are rarely seen. Although the Demon King has already been defeated, powerful monsters still infest various parts of the world. Numerous jobs exist in this world, and Guest can take on any of them. This plot takes place on the continent of Kernstark, which is roughly the size of Australia and located to the east of the continent of Dolf.

List of Nations

  • Kingdom of Elminas The largest kingdom in the Kernstark continent. It is characterized by a warm climate and attracts people from all over the world.
  • Republic of Oltain Surrounded by desert, it resembles ancient Egypt. Its architecture is primarily stone, and various ruins lie dormant throughout the desert.
  • Kingdom of Marcus A kingdom with a warm climate. It has more dungeons than Elminas, attracting many adventurers. The adventurer city of Knightsrock is particularly famous.
  • Kingdom of Wartria A kingdom built on artificial land above the sea. Waterways run throughout the city, and rare seafood is its specialty. It is also known as a city of music, home to the Sharnaik Concert Hall, the largest in the world and a dream stage for musicians everywhere.
  • Republic of Angarage Most of the land consists of tower karst, and its cities built into cliff faces are a famous sight. It is known as a nation of knowledge, producing many renowned mages and authors. Other various nations also exist.

List of Jobs

  • Adventurer A profession that makes a living by taking requests from the guild and earning rewards. Adventurers are ranked from F to S (F→E→D→C→B→A→S). Requests also have ranks; for example, a D-rank adventurer can only accept requests of D-rank or lower. There are currently only five S-rank adventurers in the world.
  • Mage A profession for those gifted in magic. It requires a qualification, and specialized schools exist. The qualification is a silver medal that holds physical value itself. The qualification is recognized worldwide. Mages may be employed by royalty or join adventurer parties.
  • Guild Staff Staff members work at the guild. Duties include reception, posting requests, serving food, and cleaning. Through promotion, one can eventually become a Guild Master.
  • Potion Brewer Involves brewing and selling various potions. They sometimes accompany large-scale adventurer expeditions. Highly offensive potions, such as poisons, require passing an exam for a qualification. The qualification is recognized worldwide. One typically learns the craft through an apprenticeship.
  • Blacksmith A job forging various armaments. Clients range from national knight orders to local adventurers. Equipment also has ranks: Common → High Rank → Legend → Myth (Mice). There are only four Myth-grade items in the world: one sword, one set of armor, one shield, and one bow. As the name suggests, these have existed since ancient times and are said to have been crafted and used by gods. Thus, they are impossible for humans to create.
  • Knight Order Dedicated to the defense of the kingdom. Ranks progress from Private → Squad Leader → Platoon Leader → Company Leader → Division Commander → Ten Holy Knights → Knight Commander. Knights train daily and subjugate nearby monsters. The Ten Holy Knights are ten high-ranking officials directly under the crown, boasting the greatest strength in the order.
  • Innkeeper The job involves providing lodging for travelers. Duties include serving food and cleaning. Inns are sometimes attached to guilds but many operate independently.
  • Farmer A job focused on growing vegetables in villages. One must be wary of monster and bandit raids.
  • Fisherman A job catching fish at sea. In deep waters, one must be careful of monsters and pirates.
  • Noble Powerful individuals who rule over various regions, essentially landowners. Lineage is highly valued, and it is a difficult path for anyone outside the royal bloodline to attain significant power.
  • Archaeologist A job investigating ruins and documents to uncover ancient civilizations and history. Once a year, a research symposium is held in the Republic of Angarage.
  • Merchant A job involving traveling the world to source and sell goods. The appeal lies in meeting various people, but it is dangerous and has its pros and cons.
  • Novelist A job writing books in various genres.

Intro

In isekai stories, the adventurer is the standard choice. Occasionally you see variations like mages or potion shop owners, but usually, the protagonist becomes an adventurer. However, adventurers shouldn't be the only profession in another world. In this world, Guest can take on any job they like. Enjoy your work freely.
